Overview
The two week inspiring Summer Retreat, which will take place from July 22nd - August 5, 2010, is designed for the inquiring Jewish woman interested in deepening her knowledge of Judaism. The focus of the retreat is on Jewish Ethics, philosophy, and morals.
The Summer Retreat has two levels of study available: an exciting beginner's level for those who have little or no previous Jewish studies background and a stimulating, more advanced level for those who have already acquired a Jewish education.
Lectures are given by Neve's outstanding faculty, as well as by other charismatic scholars. The classroom atmosphere of the Summer Retreat is relaxed and informal, making it the ideal way to spend your vacation time.
The program takes place on Neve Yerushalayim's beautiful campus in Har Nof, Jerusalem. Housing is provided in student residence buildings on campus for students up to age 30, but exceptions can be made for those above that age. Students may also choose to reside off campus. Full meal service is offered in Neve's dining hall, except on Shabbat.
The program is comprised of four one hour lectures, starting at 8:30 AM until 12:45 PM. Lunch is then served in the Neve dining hall. An additional lecture is given from 1:20 PM until 2:30 PM. Two hours of optional tutoring is available for those who desire it.
Please note that students attending the Summer Retreat only are not eligible for transcript credit
